If his statement is true, the ROOT OF ALL DISEASE is a
LACK OF MINERALS.
Our bodies are approximately 98% minerals, so you will never
find anything more beneficial to put into your bodies than minerals.
An abundant supply of minerals are neccessary to:
* Strengthen the
Immune System
* Increase energy
levels
* Enhance the
appearance
Did you know all the vitamins in the world would do us little
good without minerals?
* Vitamins, proteins,
enzymes, amino acids, carbohydrates, sugars etc. require minerals for proper
cellular funtion.
* Your brain cells and
nervous system carry electrical signals over a mineral network to every part of your body.
Sick soil causes sick plants,
which in turn causes sick animals,
and ultimately sick human beings.
Dr. Jensen wrote
the following in his book Empty Harvest:
“No civilization has ever lived beyond the
health of its soil, and only by the most artificial means have we stretched
this rule and extended this civilization”.
The American land
that first greeted European settlers had 18-25 inches of topsoil. It takes up
to 1,000 years for one inch of topsoil to develop and that one inch can be
washed away in a single thunderstorm. The average level of topsoil we now have
is anywhere from 6-9 inches. That means we are 6-9 inches of topsoil away from
starvation. Yes. Scary!
When we think of health, we usually don't think of dirt. But
dirt, or soil, is the primary factor in maintaining our nutritional health
because all our food comes from the earth. Since our bodies are literally
composed of the "dust of the earth," meaning minerals, healthy bodies
are connected to healthy soil. If any element is missing from the soil, then it
will be missing from the foods we eat and, as a result, we will not be properly
nourished.
Unfortunately, the commercial methods of agriculture are not only
depleting the soil of precious trace minerals, they are also destroying the
ability of plants to be able to utilize those elements. Hence, our food is
nutritionally deficient right from the start. To make matters worse, our food
gets refined and more of its nutritional content is removed in the process.
Poor nutrition forces the body to expend even more of its
precious oxygen reserve to maintain cellular health, fight off disease by
struggling to keep the immune system strong, and to eliminate the build-up
toxins in the body. As this struggle continues, the body slowly loses its
battle and the body’s immune system breaks down and disease conditions begin to
take greater control.
While there are still those diehards in the medical community
who preach the old dogma that supplements aren't necessary if you eat a
"balanced diet," it is nonetheless a fact that animal feeds ALL contain nutritional supplements.
Agricultural experts recognize that farmers must supplement animal feeds. They
know that the grain and other foodstuffs do not contain enough nutrients to
maintain healthy livestock without adding supplements.
If animals can't stay healthy eating our
modern crops, how can human beings?
WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT?
The answer is in
mineral supplementation!!!

Minerals & Longevity
Hunza River Valley~ 'Shangrila'
There are cultures on earth today where people routinely live to
be over 100 years, and still continue to healthy and vital. These cultures have
virtually no degenerative diseases. The main thing they have in common with
each other is that they all live in high altitudes where the rivers are fed by
glaciers. The glaciers grind up the bedrock and deposit it along with its
minerals into the rivers. The vital factor is that these cultures all wash and
cook in it, but more importantly they flood their fields with it each year.
This replaces all the minerals in the land that the crops have taken out of it.
They have no mineral deficiencies and therefore no mineral deficiency related degenerative diseases.
